Monetary Donations
Please note that giving monetary donations to the clinic is always the most beneficial, as medicine is generally less expensive in Uganda than in Europe or North America.
Some examples of how your money can help are shown below.
- £3 will provide a mosquito net to help in the prevention of malaria
- £1 will provide treatment for a patient with malaria
- £8 will buy enough de-wormer tablets to treat 500 patients
- Any donations toward the clinic and other medical care are greatly appreciated.
In-Kind Donations
If you are travelling to Kampala, Uganda and would like to bring in-kind donations, they are always welcome.
Please keep in mind:
- We do not accept expired medicine
- We can not make use of any medicine that is out-of-date, and will have to dispose of it.
- Tablet or pill form is better than liquids and syrups
- These are cheaper to buy, lighter to carry and generally take up less space. Most children older than 1 year are used to taking crushed tablets.
We are particularly in need of the items on the Clinic Wish List.
